What personal data we collect and why we collect it
Membership Details
All membership details are inputted directly onto the ClubRight system, ClubRight comply with all GDPR regulations. In the gym, the system is password protected and only accessed by authorised members of staff
PARQ's and Waivers
Our PARQ's once completed are stored with a secure software on a password protected computer. The waiver is also filed away in a locked office.
Media
We display member photos and results only after they authorise this, if you do not wish to be on the wall you have the right to refuse a member photo due to its display. The photos are displayed within a members only gym so therefore are not on general display to the public.
Member record books have no personal data other than machines, reps etc, this does not affect GDPR, you do not have to have a book and if you do please be aware of the information you share as it is within the members gym, not stored in a public place.
Online
If you agree as part of membership to us using before and after pictures, we will ask for your consent prior to sharing on social media or web pages. You can request them to be removed at any time.
CCTV
For your safety and protection The Gym Joint operates 24 hour CCTV. Our system ensures this is GDPR compliant, the use of it is only for purposes when needed and automatically overwrites itself every 28 days.
Who we share your data with
We do NOT share any data with any other websites or business.
How long we retain your data
For users that register for our services we hold those details for as long as you are members after which we do not use your details again.
What rights you have over your data
If you have a membership with us you can request to receive a copy of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you if you cease to be a member. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
